Use this verse to pray for the boldness to speak to those members of your family who don’t know Jesus yet. Staying silent is not the answer, but trying to prove a point to our family isn’t either. It must be born out of a heart to see people make it to Heaven our heart must break for the lost. Peter tells us to always be prepared to give the reason for our hope and to do it with gentleness and respect. We want so badly to see them make it to Heaven that it often turns into a shouting match or we just want to see them so we keep our mouths shut… Neither one is good. To speak the truth to our own family can sometimes be the hardest thing. The prayer to be able to speak God’s word boldly is something that each one of us needs to pray for daily. Not “If you can,” but rather, “When you do.”ġ Peter 3:15 ESV - 15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you yet do it with gentleness and respect… Boldly approach the throne of grace with your requests, believing for your miracle. So as we begin this fast, let your faith attempt to match His unlimited resources. Not only that, but we serve a God who WANTS to help us. We must understand that we serve a God who created and controls the universe and NOTHING is impossible for Him. Our God is able and willing to help His children when they seek His will for their lives. Jesus cast out the demon with a word and the boy was healed, all because the man responded with, “I do believe, Lord help my little faith!”. It shows us that of course He is able and if we would only believe He is more than willing to help! The man says to Jesus in verse 22, “But please, if you’re able to do something, anything-have compassion on us and help us!”. In this verse we see Jesus responding to a man’s unbelief that Jesus would be able or willing to help his son be rid of a demon possession he had experienced from birth. Faith can be seen as knowing God can and expecting that He will do something. We must walk into this time with true faith. Over the past four years, we have purposefully and intentionally spent time building a strong foundation and leadership team to effectively steward the mission and vision God has given us to accomplish.Mark 9:23 TPT - 23 Jesus said to him, “What do you mean ‘if’? If you are able to believe,all things are possible to the believer.”Īs we begin these 21 days of prayer and fasting it is important to understand the one to whom we pray is able to do ALL things. The Sanctuary was found in beautiful Adriatica, where we currently hold our weekend services. In the fall of 2013 the growth of the church demanded a new location for the purpose of expanding the children's and youth ministries. God’s blessings have been evident from that first Sunday morning service onward, as more continue to connect with the mission and vision of Radiant Life Church. Pastor Michael said on that first Sunday service in June, “This last week I was praying for God to bless this endeavor, when I sensed Him ask me: “Why are you asking me to bless your endeavor, when I’ve invited you to mine?” And still more came, until over 170 people celebrated the start of Radiant Life Church. It was a beautiful Texas Sunday morning on Jwhen the doors opened and people started arriving until the sanctuary was at capacity. After several months of searching, a location was secured and plans were made to launch. With the vision clear to provide a pastureland for those who have “been scattered”, to provide a place where anyone can come and be safe, cared for, and find peace for their lives, the next step was to look for a location. I will bandage the injured and strengthen the weak." 16 I will search for my lost ones who strayed away, and I will bring them safely home again. 15 I myself will tend my sheep and give them a place to lie down in peace, says the Sovereign Lord. There they will lie down in pleasant places and feed in the lush pastures of the hills. 14 Yes, I will give them good pastureland on the high hills of Israel. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel and by the rivers and in all the places where people live. 13 I will bring them back home to their own land of Israel from among the peoples and nations. I will find my sheep and rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on that dark and cloudy day.
12 I will be like a shepherd looking for his scattered flock. It says this:ġ1 “For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will search and find my sheep. The Lord had given Pastor Michael Ezekiel 34 (especially verses 11-16a) as a foundational passage of Scripture, and the catalyst for what was to become the vision for the church.
Radiant Life Church began as a bible study in the home of Pastors Michael & Debbie Gamble in February 2012.
